The American Heart Association has made it easier than ever to receive your CPR certification with your busy schedule. Our CPR classes are available in the blended learning options for healthcare providers, healthcare students, and first responders. You’ll start by completing an online course available through the American Heart Association, then schedule your skills check with us. That’s it!

BLS CLASS OVERVIEW

The American Heart Association BLS class (Basic Life Support Provider Certification Class) is typically a required course for most healthcare professionals and emergency responders. During this class, students will learn how to recognize life threatening emergencies and respond accordingly. Class includes: CPR, use of an AED, and choking relief for adults, children, infants.

The class includes instructional video from the American Heart Association and hands on practice led by your instructor. Our mission is to instill confidence in our students to administer CPR in real life emergencies. Students will be tested on their hands on skills and complete a written examination.

How do I prepare for a BLS class?
Please wear clothing that you will feel comfortable in to practice skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting

What if I am sick the day of class?
Please notify us as soon as possible. We will make arrangements with you to reschedule.

How long will my certification last?
Certification will be valid for two years from the date of issuance. We will notify you before it’s time to renew.

Can I renew my card before it expires? Yes. We suggest you renew your card before it’s expiration to prevent any issues with your school or workplace.
